President’s Statement
Across many communities today, we see growing challenges in building lasting relationships and supporting the next generation. Social changes, distance between countries, and shifting lifestyles have made it more difficult for individuals and families to connect in meaningful ways.
At UKDA, we believe that strong communities are built through real human connection. By creating opportunities for Koreans across the world to meet, interact, and understand one another, we aim to support the formation of meaningful relationships, friendships, and families.
Our association encourages community-based activities, cultural programmes, and shared experiences where individuals and families can naturally meet and connect. UKDA is not a dating platform, but a community environment where relationships can develop organically through participation and engagement.
Our vision is to build bridges between Korea and the global Korean diaspora — where individuals can find connection, belonging, and shared identity, and where future generations can grow from stronger, more connected communities.
Including connections across countries within the Korean diaspora, where shared heritage can become a foundation for new relationships.

오늘날 많은 커뮤니티에서 지속적인 관계 형성과 다음 세대를 위한 기반 마련이 점점 더 어려워지고 있습니다. 사회적 변화, 국가 간 거리, 그리고 변화하는 삶의 방식은 개인과 가족이 의미 있는 관계를 맺는 것을 더욱 어렵게 만들고 있습니다.
UKDA는 진정한 인간적 연결을 통해 강한 커뮤니티가 만들어진다고 믿습니다. 전 세계 한인들이 만나고 교류하며 서로를 이해할 수 있는 기회를 제공함으로써, 의미 있는 관계와 우정, 그리고 가족 형성을 지원하고자 합니다.
협회는 다양한 커뮤니티 활동과 문화 프로그램, 공동 경험을 통해 개인과 가족이 자연스럽게 만나고 교류할 수 있는 환경을 조성합니다. UKDA는 데이팅 플랫폼이 아니라, 참여와 활동을 통해 관계가 자연스럽게 형성되는 커뮤니티입니다.
우리는 한국과 전 세계 한인 디아스포라를 연결하는 다리를 구축하여, 개인이 소속감과 정체성을 느끼고 더 강하게 연결된 커뮤니티 속에서 다음 세대가 성장할 수 있도록 하는 것을 목표로 합니다.
