The Hosting Programme connects individuals and families willing to provide a private room with those in need of accommodation support, particularly within the Korean diaspora. Guests enjoy a home environment, with accommodation arrangements directly agreed upon with the host. These arrangements may involve a fixed rental payment for the room or, in some instances, a voluntary or no-cost stay, depending on the specific agreement. KDA-UK does not set prices or manage financial arrangements between hosts and guests. This initiative not only facilitates UK housing assistance but also supports cultural exchange and community integration.

The Home Exchange Programme provides accommodation support by enabling participants to exchange homes temporarily between countries. For instance, a participant traveling from Korea to the UK may stay in a home offered by a UK-based host, while that host might enjoy the participant’s home in Korea at a later time. All arrangements, including timing and conditions, are agreed directly between participants, as KDA-UK does not manage or take part in any agreements. This programme not only fosters cultural exchange and international connection but also strengthens mutual trust among the participants, particularly benefiting the Korean diaspora seeking housing options abroad.
