UKDA focuses on matters related to the Korean nation, Korean people, and Korean communities worldwide.

For this reason, experience related to Korean identity, Korean communities, or East Asian communities.

Volunteers may include:

People of Korean identity or heritage

Individuals of other nationalities who have meaningful experience working with Korean communities or broader East Asian communities

Those who understand and respect Korean history, culture, and social context

UKDA respects all races, cultures, and backgrounds. However, as a mission-focused organisation, we ask volunteers to work within the cultural framework and values of UKDA and not to introduce or promote unrelated cultural agendas within our activities.

This approach helps us maintain clarity of purpose, cultural respect, and unity in serving the Korean community.

UKDA는 한민족, 대한민국, 그리고 전 세계 한인 커뮤니티와 관련된 사안에 집중하는 단체입니다.

이에 따라 UKDA 자원봉사자는 한국적 정체성, 한인 커뮤니티, 또는 동아시아 커뮤니티와 관련된 이해, 경험, 또는 연결성을 갖추고 있어야 합니다.

자원봉사 대상에는 다음이 포함됩니다.

한국인 또는 한민족 정체성을 가진 분

한인 커뮤니티 또는 동아시아 커뮤니티에서 활동 경험이 있는 타 국적자

한국의 역사, 문화, 사회적 맥락을 이해하고 존중하는 분

UKDA는 모든 인종과 문화를 존중합니다. 다만, 명확한 미션과 목적을 유지하기 위해 자원봉사자는 UKDA의 문화적 틀과 가치 안에서 활동해야 하며, 단체의 목적과 무관한 다른 문화적 활동이나 의제를 UKDA 내에 도입하지 않는 것을 원칙으로 합니다.

이는 한국 커뮤니티를 보다 효과적으로 섬기고, 단체의 정체성과 연대를 유지하기 위한 방향입니다.

All dedicated volunteers must become UKDA members.

All new volunteers begin with a one-month probation period to confirm suitability, clarify roles, and ensure a positive volunteering experience.

모든 전담 자원봉사자는 UKDA 회원으로 가입해야 합니다.

신규 자원봉사자는 1개월의 수습 기간을 통해 역할 적합성과 활동 지속 여부를 확인합니다.
